9 & Strep

Bren woke up on his 9th Birthday with a 102 degree temp & strep throat. Obviously not how he/we had planned on spending his Birthday! Poor kiddo was so sad (and in so much pain he could hardly even talk). He just laid around on the floor, moaned in pain, and all he wanted to do was sleep.




He felt so cruddy he almost didn't even want to open presents! Look at the sad, sad tear in his eye.





Back to sleep. Thank God for antibiotics. In 24hrs he was back to being Bren!
